Erin Liles

Erin Liles is a self-taught abstract painter working from her home studio in Denver, Colorado. It wasn’t until her hectic life as a wife and mother to two beautiful girls required an outlet that Erin picked up a brush and began expressing herself. What started as a search for quiet and solitude became a passion for art.

Erin’s inspiration comes from the great natural beauty of Colorado, the movement of light and shadow, and the great abstract artists such as Wassily Kandinsky and Jonas Gerard. Her art is both spiritual and ethereal, giving any appreciator of the arts an entirely new perspective upon each viewing.

Forging her own path, Erin’s use of color, shape and texture on canvas transport the viewer to a new world of sensation and motion. Her work is purchased by business, interior designers and private collectors to bring brightness and life to otherwise dreary spaces. Erin’s art has been the center of a successful show at Kagan & Baron Gallery of Fine Art in Montrose, Colorado.
